WHY A LANGUAGE SCHOOL?
The Time For Polish! Language School is a culmination of passion and personal experiences. Do you remember the travel show Pepper and Vanilla? I remember it perfectly because it sparked my fascination with distant countries where people looked completely different from me, lived in entirely different conditions, ate different foods, dressed differently, had customs and rituals I didn’t know, and communicated with each other using a jumble of words whose meanings I couldn’t grasp.

I dreamed as a teenager, just a few years past ten.
Over the next three decades, I learned many foreign languages: Russian (out of obligation), English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, and Swedish. Yet, I couldn’t fully enjoy my proficiency in them at the level I had hoped for. Somewhat frustrated, I focused my efforts on English, and it was then—quite by chance, actually—that a thought emerged in my mind: after all, I’m fluent in a certain language; all I need to do is organize my knowledge, complete my studies, and without major sacrifices, become a professional Polish language teacher!
WHY ARE WE UNIQUE?
We create an organization filled with positive energy, where learning takes place in an atmosphere of free thought and respect for individual needs and abilities. For us, everyone is unique, and that’s exactly what motivates us to design a learning program tailored to each person individually. We consider not only linguistic needs but also emotional, cultural, and customary ones. We understand that these are the most important components for effectively, efficiently, and stress-free acquisition of the challenging Polish language—without the fear of failure.
In our teaching, we use everything our imagination can suggest: multimedia, books, maps, guides, encyclopedias, games, cards, flashcards, puzzles, paintings, art, poetry, crime novels, biographies, fairy tales, and market-available textbooks for learning Polish as a foreign language. We write stories together, learn to work both individually and as a team, drawing inspiration from one another. We organize competitions, reward winners, and encourage setting ambitious language goals and achieving them.
For us, it doesn’t matter what languages our students speak. We handle every challenge because we are professional, experienced, and friendly. To us, the word "school" is one of the most important words in all the languages of the world: HOME. A home that we create for our students and for ourselves. A home where we spend time, work, get to know each other, develop skills, talk, and learn from one another.
A UNIQUE APPROACH
We distinguish ourselves with a one-of-a-kind teaching method, delivering personalized language learning through an original program crafted from the ground up to meet the specific needs of each individual! This investment of time and effort pays off: students acquire the knowledge they desire within their preferred timeframe, while we gain satisfaction and motivation to keep advancing our skills.
Our custom program is built with flexibility and simplicity, tailored to the unique goals and circumstances of foreigners living in Poland—especially in the Tricity area—where they, alongside us, shape our shared present. The topics are thoughtfully sequenced, building on one another, overlapping naturally, and gradually introducing more complex concepts.
We’re not against traditional textbooks, but we’ve heeded feedback from users: an overload of images, photos, drawings, colors, and shapes, with content that often skims the surface. This inspired us to rethink textbook design, filling it with comprehensive, well-organized knowledge presented clearly. We include exercises from simple to advanced, add practical language insights for daily life, and offer an intuitive dictionary to foster natural language use.

FOREIGNERS IN THE TRICITY
Poland has become so economically, culturally, and touristically attractive that, according to estimates, around 50,000 foreigners reside in the Tricity area alone. They’ve come for various reasons: seeking work, pursuing studies, joining family and friends, or simply out of curiosity. Naturally, with each passing day, week, month, and year, their need to communicate with Poles in the Polish language grows stronger.
This is exactly why the Time For Polish! school was created! We provide them with knowledge of the Polish language, as well as Polish history and culture, while in return, we learn about them—their countries, languages, customs, perspectives, but also their daily challenges, needs, dreams, and plans. It’s a perfect symbiosis that fosters personal growth, expands linguistic knowledge, and builds meaningful friendships.

OUR SCHOOL IS FOR YOUR CHILD!
Teaching children is our passion and challenge, which we are happy to face and achieve great results! A little person has incredible potential and possesses countless talents. It is nothing new that the human brain is most receptive during childhood, and that is why it is so important to start learning languages as early as possible. Then the language itself ‘enters’ the head, the child does not have to work hard to memorise words and grammar rules, because it does not have to - it absorbs knowledge automatically, mainly by sight and hearing, in a fun, friendly, family atmosphere, in small groups, in order to direct all the child's attention to the content of the lessons.
LEARNING POLISH IN NO TIME - YOU WILL GAIN KNOWLEDGE AND A LOT OF GOOD!
Classes are generally held twice a week for 45 minutes at a time so that your child makes the most of the learning time, but if you have another idea, we will certainly take it.
